Understanding Medicare
Get clear answers to common Medicare questions — so you can make the right decision with confidence.
Do I need Medicare?
Most people become eligible for Medicare when they turn 65, but your situation may vary depending on your employment, health coverage, or retirement plans.
If you’re still working or covered under an employer plan, you may have options about when to enroll. Missing the right timing, however, could lead to penalties or gaps in coverage.
We can help you understand what applies to you and when you should take action.
How Do I Enroll in Medicare?
Your local Social Security office has been directed to no longer assist you in signing up for Medicare.
Reach out to us after you turn age 64 and we can set up a consultation.
We’ll help you enroll in Medicare so you have your coverage in place by the time you turn age 65.
We’ll also help you understand your probable cost for Part B as the cost changes every year and can range from just over $200 monthly to over $600 per month.
Is Medicare Enough or Should I Get Additional Coverage?
Original Medicare (Parts A and B) covers many healthcare services, but it doesn’t cover everything. You may still have out-of-pocket costs like deductibles, copays, and prescriptions.
Many people choose additional coverage such as Medicare Advantage, Part D, or Medicare Supplement plans to help fill those gaps.
We help you compare your options so you can decide what level of coverage is right for your needs and budget.
